Fellow Inmate Testimonies:

Thomas Henner,  convict #805084

I have been incarcerated since the age of 19.

I became a ranking member within one of Texas’ most violent prison gangs.  Part of my conduct was the persecution and punishment of sex offenders, to which I have since repudiated and surrendered my life to follow Jesus Christ, helping and mentoring men within prison helping them become better despite their mistakes.

At the age of 10, I myself was assaulted and molested thus my life had been consumed by a vitriolic hate for sex offenders, especially those of the ilk and charge Mr. Greg Kelley has been falsely claimed and imprisoned for.

I state the aforementioned so that you might understand that within prison one gets to understand character traits and idiosyncrasies that are common threads within people that you might read them quickly and effectively and efficiently,…  In a very real sense, you become very good at profiling people quickly.  I have always had an ability because of my own victimization as a youth to know those who have v victimized childrten.  Something within me registers, However, I don’t pretend to understand it.

I state that I believe Greg Kelley to be innocent.

…it is who Greg is, a leader of people who makes them better.

…he has become my friend and brother in every sense of the word.

it is my prayer that you weigh them in…  with the spirit fo justice given to you.

Sincerely, I Christ’s Name,
Thomas Henner  #805084

I am an inmate facilitator/leader in the faith based dorm and Greg is a member of my group—a highly valued member,

…He has stepped up before the entire dorm and represented our group by showing what he has lear4ned and teaching others.

Greg repeatedly shows love and compassion for others…

I would trust this man at my home with my family.    (family means the world to me!)

I have been incarcerated over 16 years and have interacted with hundreds of guys in here.  Greg is one of the few whom I’ve found to be honest & straight5-forward in his approach to life.

I’m trying to recollect any negative situation he may have shared with me.  All that comes to mind are the times we’d both laugh and poke fun at him for things like being a rebel in staying awake last his bedtime to talk on the phone with his girlfriend, and maybe e overlooking simple chores at home.

I’ve seen such a purity of heart within him that as our friendship grew I looked upon him as a son or younger brother to me and I love him as such.

He’s the one who’s leaving a lasting legacy in my life and inspiring hope with me.

I see this tragedy in Greg’s life is molding a foundation of iron in his soul and fueling his passion to seek a deeper relationship with Our Father in Heaven…

[He] is going to be an asset to society through this experience.

Stephen Shelton, convict #186977

I was not living for Jesus at the time and was into drugs, alcohol, and the “prison life”… I used to hurt people…

Greg thought I was crazy, yet the times I would talk to him he was very polite and encouraged me to join him in his exec uses…  I got to know him as a follower of Christ.

One day out of nowhere my legs had grown lumps and my feet swelled up so bad I could not walk.  That’s when God touched my heart when I sought Him.

Every Saturday morning about 8 brothers would come together to study God’s Word, pray, and seek the Lord.

Greg witnessed the healing of my legs and the change the Lord made in my life.  Greg has had a huge impact of that as well.  His story inspired me and encourages me to become a bette person and a man of faith…  great faith.

I’ve had the privilege to grow in Christ next to Greg over the last 14 months.  We’ve ate together, prayed together, cried together, and learned so much of what it takes to follow Christ.

Greg is a gentleman and one of the realest, down to earth people I know.  He is very kind and is quick to help others.  He is full of life and the love of Jesus.  And his passion is for people… to share the Gospel to the world by telling of how God touched his heart and changed his life.

With All Sincerity,

Stephen Shelton #186977

P.S. I will miss you my friend… but I’ll see you soon. Touchdown Jesus.

I absolutely trust him being alone with anyone in my family regardless of Gender and age.

Greg Kelley is a kind and caring young man who resents any form of evil; who deserves to be out in the free-world being a pillar of society.

Releasing Greg would be very beneficial to society.\

Danny Lara, Sr., convict #1952464

He is loved by everyone he touches… I have known him about 1 year and half and I’ve never seen him give trouble or ever get a case. Okay maybe one for his Hotspot being out of place, again. For trying to help the whole dorm with his Hotspot and give hot water to those whom aren’t as fortunate as myself!

He ius a good friend that one could trust with whatever you tell him or problems in your life struggles.

I told him the other day, if I ever had a father I would want him to be you. And I’m 52 years old!

He is a leader always treating everyone to be the best you can be. I love him because (he is Greg Kelley) Nobody could ask for a better friend than him.

Yours Truly

Danny Lara, Sr., #1952464
